baca buku di henfon??

When I logged in to update this, I was greeted by revamped Diaryland member's area. Whoa, nice. But, you know, it was only revamped, just look differently in appearance, other thing was still the same. The editor box and all. First, I thought, maybe they totally changed everything so that they could be compared to blogspot or wordpress. tapi hampeh, same jer. Still had to do manually, you know, if you want to make your font in bold or italic, i had to put the html command myself. Nevertheless, the revamped member's area was nice (black background and orange line with white letter). Maybe it was a first step before they change the whole system.

Right now, I'm reading the third book of His Dark Material series, Amber Spyglass. Well, it is not really a book; it's an e-book to be exact.

Last January, I was looking for new software for my phone. I found this ebook reader software on the internet (where else, pfft!) and installed it into my phone. Later, I tried searching for "Pullman" in the website ( http://www.mobipocket.com/ and found out that they have that title (the second book, subtle knife). So, I bought it (for 15 ringgit only) and read it. When I finished, I bought the third one (15 ringgit gak) and now, still reading it (and facebook keep emailing me whether I have finished the book or not, (sabar laa, ko ingat aku takde keje lain ke apa)heheh, sori. Emo skit). It's different from reading a real book of course, but so far, I like it. The most things that I like about this ebook reader was when I tried to find a meaning for some word, say precipitous, I just select the word and the reader will find me the definition of the word in the dictionary. As for the dictionary, you have to download it into the phone and in order to download it; you have to buy it first. So, extra money laa di situ. Ok laa, since I've never had a good dictionary, I bought Oxford dictionary, pretty good, I think (this one costs me abt 90 bucks). Quite pricey, but it worked well with my phone, not like the one I used to have (this one was free, not as detail as the Oxford, and did not work well with my phone, I couldn't insert letter "U", so couldn't find word umbrella (contoh sahaja, gua tau laa apa itu umbrella)sori, emo lagi). Another thing about the ebook reader, I don't have to lug around the book anymore, so nobody will call me a geek or nerd or something. Heheh. Ok what, save space. I can always put the phone in my pocket, but I don't think I can shove a book into my pocket (although pocket gua besar, tapi tak muat gak). All in all, you might want to try this software someday, but make sure your phone have big screen. Sebab, klau skrin kecik ni, macam mengarut sikit laa. A real book would be nicer to your eyes.
